1. iPod Touch Tutorial Video
Client: My mum, Connie.
She is interested to be my client because she doesn't really know how to use or operate an iTouch and would like to learn how to use it.
I decided to make an iPod Touch tutorial video for my mum. I will definately include an iPod Touch (8GB) in the video. By doing so, I think the skills I need to achieve is make a good standard video showing which also gives clear instruction on how to use it. I am planning to shoot the tutorial video with a plain (possibly white) background therefore it will look simple and easy. I would also include a few photo shots in the tutorial video so not all of it would be a video. I would also record my voice down talking through each stage of the tutorial instead of showing a paragraph of text to my target audience. I plan to use window's movie maker or other similar software to produce the video. I might also use some photoshopping to fix any bits and pieces in my photo that I've taken. I might also add a background music whilst the video is showing some picture of the product instead of there being no sound. In doing this, i also hope to familiarise myself with the software and hope I can use it easily with no struggle in the end. I also will learn how to edit the video clips to make it into one smooth tutorial video. I can also improve my camera skills by filming the tutorial video at different angle/shots to give my target audience a more interesting video to see. I think the video would be a short one, probably about 3 - 5 minutes long. It would be a short, clear video on explaining basically how the iPod Touch works and also explaining its functions. I will also include the Apple website link at the end of the video to give my target audience more information on the product's company or if they would like to explore more with the Apple products.

2. Music Video
Client: My brother, Laurence
He would like to make a music video of himself lip-singing a theme song to a tv show.
I decided to make a music video for my brother. I think doing so, it would include alot of filming, editing and creativity. I would also like to explore more on new editing software to widen my ICT skills. However, I think this would be more time consuming than making a tutorial because if the filming or editing is not done to its best, the music video will definately not run smoothly, it will most likely lag. Therefore this project might get me a lower mark if I don't do it well enough. Furthermore, my brother would like to include a few people in the music video so we will have to rehearse for awhile till we can finally shoot it to make sure no errors are being made. I would also like to add some special effects in the video so it would be more interesting to watch. Another skill I want to achieve is getting the music to match with the lip-singing. It's because I think besides having a good routine in the music video, lip-singing and the music is equally important. It's because alot of times when I go on youtube and look through fan-made videos, the lip-singing and the music doesn't match I think it lowers the quality of the video no matter what if the routine was good or not.
The music video will mainly be filmed outdoors on a sunny weather, most likely during the day.
3. Simple Website Creation

Make a website giving information about Indian Dances.
I want to make a simple website beacause I know I can manage it better instead of a professional one. We did a simple website creation last year for our horizons week however mine didn't turn out too well because my time management was not good enough and half of the links doesn't work. Therefore I must plan out my work before starting it so I could work against a time frame finishing the website. I wish to use this project to revisit those skills and in additon to that hopefully learn some more challenging ones. I also want to make it more intereactive by adding photo slideshow or a video, therefore the website won't just be plain text. Furthermore, in order to capture a video of the Indian dance, I might go with my client to her practice and film it or get her to show the moves step by step. I'll also paste some youtube links in the website so my audience can explore a more variety of the Indian Dance. I plan to have 6 to 10 pages for this website because I think I could make them all interesting in the given time and it works well with no link errors or anything.
