Choosing my ICT project

1) I will make a video to promote an Apple's product - iPod Touch. I think mainly this product is aimed at teenagers or
businessmen/businesswomen. Furthermore, there's no doubt that Apple has attracted so many buyers because their designs are simple, ergonomic, lightweight and slim. I might use window's movie maker or other similar software to make my video. However I'm not too good at making a video therefore hopefully through this project, i will familiarize more on this type of media. In the video, i might also add still image shots to show my audience and perhaps record my voice explaining how the product works. I hope if I do choose this idea, i would get an experience on how a promotion video is made e.g. time, editing process, filming.

2) My second idea would be producing and promoting a music video. I've seen lots of video on "MTV", and some behind the scene video. It's pretty interesting how the producers can use so many effects and numerous clips to make a music video which usually turns out to be quite successful. I think the difference from my first idea is that producing a music video, it requires lots more creativity, editing and different designs. Therefore it may let me use some editing software which are totally new to me. I think i will enjoy it because i like editing in terms of photos so hopefully editing videos won't be as bad. I can upload it onto youtube therefore the audience would be more because youtube is quite international, people from all nation goes onto it.

3) I would choose the simple website creation. It's because these skills, we used them in year 9 for our horizons week website. So now I get the opportunity to produce another simple website, I will try and create one which was slightly better than my horizons week website page. By doing so, it means that I will manage my time well and try to complete all pages since last year i left blank quite a few pages. Since I will have more time than last year, I want to make the website look as professional as possible. I want to make the website actually work properly. Even though it would be a simple website, that doesn't mean it will be poorly made, quality is more important than quantity.
