Lesson blog - March 2nd 2009

That lesson, we updated our gantt chart. We also wrote down what we will learn during this course and what things we need to get/make in order to make my website.
Some of the things that I need to learn is to how to create a collage on photoshop and edit photos. I also need to learn how to use dreamweaver properly. The things i will need to make is a collage and possibly a photo slideshow.

After a discussion with my teacher, I will now have to find photos on the internet which are not copyrighted. This means that I can copy and paste and use these photos in my website, I also have to check if the photo i chose can be edited otherwise I can't edit that particular photo.

I also have to finish off a few designs for my website and script the information that i will put into the website. After I done all this, I think i will have another appointment with my client to see if she is satisfied with what I'm planning so far.

Further improving designs

After some feedback from the teacher, I need to include actual words on my designs so someone else who wants to design can also make it without much difficulty as well. Furthermore, I need an overview of the website structure. eg.what fonts will i use.

I decided to redraw some of my designs, this time they will include actual wording of the website i will make. I will also annotate more details in the design so that it will be clearer.
